Cromer Academy wishes its students to dress in a manner which encourages a sense of pride in their school. A smart school uniform will help to promote a sense of identity both within the Academy and the local community.

Surveys of students, parents, staff and Governors have been undertaken and the results indicated a support for a change of uniform as stated in our previous newsletter. We are aware that affordability has been an area of concern for some of our parents. With this in mind, we have consulted with a number of companies and we have gone with the company with the most cost effective package.

An example of approximate costing for the new uniform consisting of Blazer, jumper, 2 shirts, tie and trousers/skirt with £30 discount voucher from Cromer Academy and purchased during the introductory offer evenings in June will be; KS3 -£30, KS4 -£47 ( this price includes VAT and all pricing reflects age rather than measurements).

A hardship fund will be available to families who reach the criteria. Additional funding will be available for these. Families who qualify for this will be informed directly. 

Any uniform bought after this evening will need to be purchased online at a slightly increased price direct from the supplier, more details to follow. Samples have been made available for inspection by all interested parties in the school foyer and via this page. You will have the opportunity to vote for your preference of style and colour combination also at this page.  The deadline for voting will be Tuesday 31st January 2012.
